Lean Mass Calculator 
Lean body mass is an estimation of how much you weigh without the body fat. It is the sum of weight of your muscles, bones, and organs. As the other factors are assumed to be relatively static, by monitoring your lean body mass you can get a fairly accurate estimate of the amount of muscle you are gaining or losing. You can calculate your lean body mass by entering your height and weight. Essential fat is 10% for women and 2% for men, and acceptable fat is up to 31% for women and 25% for men.
